SEOpen Firefox 3 Extension

SEOpen plugin for 3.0.1

We all love our Firefox extensions, and there is nothing worse than Firefox updating to a new version only to find that your favorite Firefox extensions is no longer working. As an online marketing professional I happened to fall in love with a really cool SEO based Firefox extension called SEOpen. Unfortunately this extension is yet not compatible with Firefox 3. So I wrote Damian an email. After 2 weeks of waiting for a response I decided to make the adjustments myself. I simply adjusted the install.rdf file to version 3 and it worked perfectly for me.

Below is a link to the extension. Feel free to use the updated extension at your own risk.

I uninstalled my original SEOpen extension before I installed this one. I am not sure if it updates automatically.

Yes, Michael’s seopen extension worked fine in Firefox 3.0, but I find it unfortunately won’t work with Firefox 3.0.1 :-(

Well, I was waiting for this add-on and after I read this I upgraded and then tried to install on FF 3.0.1 and it would not install because it is not compatible. Ugh. I feel as if I am working with only one arm now. This plugin was very important, as you know. Any ideas why it won’t install with 3.0.1?

Actually, this doesn’t work with the latest versions of FF 3. Can you fix it again? haha.
